Ciboure is a seaside resort along the Atlantic Ocean and close to the foothills of the Pyrenees. Nestled in the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz - Ciboure, it is famous for its sandy beaches, its mild climate and preserved its authenticity.

Built at the end of the bridge of the Nivelle, between the ocean and the hills of Bordagain, Ciboure is remarkable for the beauty of its location, its pristine natural surroundings and picturesque façade of its docks ...

Basque name, Zubiburu means "bridgehead". Originally the town was a district of Urrugne. Ciboure is a village of artists. She received many painters including that made its port and its streets a real shop open. And that is the heart of the city was born in 1875 the famous composer of "Bolero" Maurice Ravel.
