Charming small village of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Choranche takes place in the department of Isère, in the heart of the Bourne gorges. Located in the Vercors massif, it is not far from the big city of Grenoble.
Small natural paradise, Choranche seduces mainly its visitors by its landscapes and its various hiking trails allowing to appreciate the local fauna and flora. Within it, one discovers a rather typical architecture of this part of the Isère with many monuments in stone and other houses of mountain.
But it is mainly for its caves that the village is known. Some of their galleries are open to the public to admire the interior. Full of charm, the commune of Choranche is a haven of peace where it is nice to spend a few days of holidays.
