Village of Indre-et-Loire, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, Chisseaux is one of the oldest towns in Touraine. Quoted from the 6th century by Grégoire de Tours, it takes place about thirty kilometers from Tours, not far from Luzillé, Chenonceaux or Chissay-en-Touraine.
A major place of trade since Antiquity, as evidenced by the numerous vestiges found on site, the town continued to prosper in the Middle Ages and later, in particular with its foundry of light alloys created at the beginning of the 20th century.
Ideally located near the most beautiful sites in the region, the town is a good vacation spot for exploring the castles of the Loire or the surrounding nature.
