The former Hotel Dieu was first a commander built in the twelfth century by the Knights Templar with its Romanesque portal and chapel. Eleonore de Courcelles, wife of John III of Coligny Hotel Dieu installed there in the fifteenth century.
The historical and archaeological museum was established under the leadership of Hubert M. Zurfluh to 1985. Here you will find: large local archaeological pieces, family history of Coligny and Montmorency Luxembourg and the work of four physicists Becquerel.
