Located in the former episcopal palace, a set of buildings from the 15th, 17th and 18th centuries listed as Historic Monuments, the Chartres museum reveals unique collections. Walking through the reception rooms, the chapel or the Italian room, visitors can admire paintings, sculptures, works of art or even ethnographic objects from the 13th to the 20th century.
The Chartres museum is well known for housing works by Fragonard, Corot, Zurbaran and Henri Navarre.
