Things to see and do

The Roman aqueduct of Gier is one of the aqueducts that supplied water Lugdunum. Capturing water Gier in Saint-Chamond, he carried water over 86 km to Fourvière. Many remains are still visible years later in 2000 Chaponost.

On the Air flat site we find the longest aqueduct visible section in France: a row of 72 arches stands majestically on the site. Brignais - Stations of the Cross - Saint Clair Church: Since November 1, 2012, the church of Saint-Clair has a new monumental way of the cross composed of 14 paintings painted by Patrick Marquès and marouflé directly on the wall of the nave by the City of Creation. Free visit of the church every day from 9h to 18h, outside religious ceremonies. Guided tours for groups from 10 people all year round on request.
