In the heart of the Jura, the archaeological museum of Champagnole offers its visitors the opportunity to discover the life of the Gallo-Romans and the Merovingians who lived here from the 1st to the 7th century. On the site program, a Gallo-Roman sanctuary on Mount Rivelet, Merovingian cemeteries or even several collections of objects found on site during archaeological excavations.
Guided hikes of Mount Rivel are also offered in order to learn more about the history of our ancestors as well as their daily way of life.
