Champagnac-le-Vieux

Built in the 15th century, the church of Champagnac-le-Vieux presents a very beautiful reliquary-monstrance classified as an historical monument.

While strolling in the village, do not miss to admire the cross of the XIV^e century in sandstone, at the crossroads of the road of Auzon. In the old streets, it is also possible to discover traditional houses made of old stones.

In the heart of the beautiful landscapes of the Regional Natural Park Livradois-Forez, you can learn fishing, tennis, mushroom picking or riding. In the lake, swimming is supervised during the summer period, between July and August. Several marked hiking trails complete this leisure offer.

The market is held every Friday morning. A garage sale is also proposed in June during the patronal festival. Every Wednesday in July and August, the town offers a lively craft market. In December, place at the Christmas market.
