Listed as a Historic Monument for its facades, its roofs and the two towers of its former enclosure, the Château de Rouvray in Chambon, in Indre-et-Loire, was erected at the end of the 15th century by Jacques de Mallemouche.
Originally surrounded by a rectangular enclosure lined with moats, of which two towers can still be admired, the Château de Rouvray is accessible via a fortified gate rebuilt in the 16th century. It consists of a rectangular stately home confined by a cylindrical tower which served as a chapel.
It is only accessible from the outside.
