The birthplace of Claude Lorrain:
The birthplace of Claude Lorrain "said Lorraine" is a rare example of Lorraine houses before the war of 30 years. Separated from the street by a paved usoir, the facade, sheltered by a broad eaves, has two parts: the house and barn. The typical features of the house of Lorraine are apparent also in the large volume available under the roof, the three living quarters in a row and the wooden frames of doors and windows.
The House is open to the public from April 1 to October 30 Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 14h to 18h.
We can admire, also evokes the work of Claude Lorrain, temporary exhibitions of paintings, sculptures.
