Things to see and do

Oldest building in the valley of Elbeuf, the Notre Dame church is the only building to have weathered the Hundred Years War. From the original church, it remains today a Romanesque tower of the twelfth century, following a restoration and enlargement in the course of the nineteenth century.

Strolling down Caudebec-lès-Elbeuf, you can also discover some Gallo-Roman ruins, including the remains of the necropolis of Uggate.

There are also still some remains of the heyday of the textile industry, through several old factories now used as private homes or as businesses.
