Located in the town of Castets et Castillon, in Gironde, the Château du Hamel dominates the Garonne from its hillside, always enjoying a strategic location. Built in the 14th century on the remains of an old fortress for the nephew of Pope Clement V, it underwent many transformations in the 16th, then in the 17th century.
Listed as a Historic Monument, it harmoniously combines feudal and Renaissance styles, and is accessible to visitors.
