House of the Castera

Monument in Casseuil

House called the Castera date 1550 and is listed as a historic monument since 1990. She belonged to the Sieur de Pardaillon, protestant, which housed a few days in 1578, Henry of Navarre, the future Henry IV. Catherine de Medici came to meet him with his daughter Marguerite in order to reconcile the spouses. The house was destroyed in the early 17th century. There remains an octagonal tower.
