The cliffs of Champeaux offer a marvelous panorama on the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, until Brittany. To the west: Cancale, the tip of Grouin du Nord, and in good weather Cape Fréhel. Further north: the Chausey Islands. And of course, at the bottom of the bay: Tombelaine, Mont-Saint-Michel... without forgetting on the horizon Mont Dol towards Pontorson. The coastal path, "customs officers", leads from the cabin Vauban to the best known of Carolles... where we find the valley of painters. The tip of Champeaux and the road along it is aptly named as the "most beautiful kilometer in Europe" by the natives... who are not chauvinists!
