Resort of Herault, Carnon-Plage had its main development during the second half of the nineteenth century, particularly through the development of Grau of Pérols channel. Located about ten kilometers from Montpellier, it is a stakeholder in the city of Mauguio. Things to see and do

Modern resort developed in the late nineteenth century Carnon-Plage no shortage of attractions and sights to be discovered in over-rides on the beach.

Carnon-Plage the main tourist attraction are its beaches, long stretches of fine sand. Events and festivities

Like any good self-respecting seaside resort, Carnon-Plage no shortage of entertainment and other activities to attract passing tourists and to give life to its streets and squares.

In the summer, Carnon-Plage is permanent animation, with many events organized throughout the summer. In June and July, the many dances, salsa evenings or concerts begin the season.

In mid-July to party of sea Carnon-Plage. On this occasion, boat blessings are organized, as are local markets, boat parades or concerts and jousting.

Markets take place on the port as the port Wednesdays, every Wednesday in July and August from 10am to midnight, or the traditional market on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings. An amusement park also takes place every day in July and August.

More agitated, the sports village settled on the beach from mid-July to mid-August, with different beach rugby tournaments, beach volleyball or rowing.
