- Specifications Cappy : Village located on the banks of the Somme, in a splendid marshy area to the delight of the hunters of waterfowl and many fishermen.
- Arms of Cappy : Cappy door " gules a silver bridge embattled and masonry sand, topped by two turrets as money, covered, girouettées and masonry sand, defended a golden gun man the bloody ax on his shoulder and sustained a shaded azure river ". These are the weapons of the common Cappy, according to a seal 1288 (see Demay, Seals Collection of the Empire, No. 5754 ).
- Part of the territory is included in the Natura 2000 site " Average Somme valley " involving six municipalities of the Community Commons Poppy country. It is a recognition of exceptional ecological interest of the Somme valley, across Europe.
