The Réaux manor is located in the town of Cambernon, in the Manche department, a few kilometers northeast of Coutances.
In a landscaped setting typical of the Normandy bocage but near the coast, this beautiful residence was erected in the 16th century.
Its architecture, characteristic of rural buildings, was once covered with thatch and had rounded skylights.
On land that belonged to the royal domain, the manor is made up of a main building of three levels to which are attached two corner towers set diagonally. A beautiful stone staircase with two straight flights and a wall (wall bearing the staircase) have been preserved and bear witness to the care taken in the construction.
The porch of the front facade is later and does not appear in the elements which justified the inscription of the manor in the Inventory.
The site was once home to guest rooms. Still private, the property is not open to the public but can mark out a pleasant walk in this town of character where a distant lord fought alongside William the Conqueror.
