The village of Buironfosse was and remains a large clearing in the middle of a huge forest of Thiérache. Its inhabitants have long worked and lived through this forest. Loggers, arborists, tank tops, pitsawyers, sawyers, rudder pedals, carpenters, carpenters, wheelwrights, the makers of tool handles, papinettes manufacturers and naturally the shoemakers have worked all of first in the forest, in huts, as early as 1885 right inside the village in shops and workshops and in mechanical workshops.
