A small 16th century castle built in the town of Bricquebec-en-Cotentin, in the Manche department, the Château des Galleries today benefits from a listing as a Historic Monument for its facades, roofs, horseshoe staircase and loggia.
Rectangular in plan, the Château des Galleries is flanked by a small back wing made up of mullioned windows. It is possible to admire a very beautiful loggia supported by four columns with Corinthian capitals and covered with an imperial roof dating back to the 17th century. The building takes place within the limits of the old castral enclosure of the feudal castle, and opens onto a French garden.
Also listed in the General Inventory of Cultural Heritage, the Château des Galleries is a private property open only to groups by appointment.
