Things to see and do

The Church of Our Lady and St. Croix The Romanesque church was built in the year 958 during the reign of the first Bouchard de Montmorency, first baron of Bray. Fire by Boson in 978, it was consecrated after its reconstruction and enlargement, August 31, 1169 by William of Champagne, archbishop of Sens. In 1174, Henry 1st Baron de Bray and Count of Champagne and Brie, founded a chapter and the church became collegiate Notre Dame. Burned by the Huguenots in 1567, it was "repaired" by the care of Jacques 1st of Savoy, Baron de Bray. If the bedside and nave are Romanesque, the rest is all styles. The building lost the collegiate title with the departure of the canons and became Holy Cross Church in the eighteenth century.

Hall: This hall hosted three markets: the market for calves, the grain market and the general market on Friday morning still active today. This type of joint construction of the nineteenth century, is rare in Île-de-France, hence its inclusion in the inventory of Historical Monuments 12 October 1998.
