The high cliff above the village is riddled with caves overlooking the road and Lot. Some have served as hideouts or shelters since the dawn of time. The largest is reinforced by a crenellated wall: the "English Castle" fortified during the Hundred Years War. The road that passes under the overhanging rocks, called "the parade of English", is extremely picturesque.
