Located in the heart of Indre-et-Loire, the castle of Boussay has been protected as a Historic Monument (listed in the inventory) since the 1950s. This magnificent 11th century castle, which has undergone many transformations over the course of the centuries (15th - 17th - 18th century) is still today surrounded by a moat and reveals to visitors a tower with machicolations from the 15th century, a wing with a Mansard roof from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Accessible via a large driveway adorned with stone bollards, the park can be visited freely all year round and part of the castle now hosts top-of-the-range guest rooms as well as a gîte accessible by reservation and housed in the former presbytery of the place.
An association of the 1901 law type, called "I am a thousand years old", organizes cultural events every summer (theatre, concert, theme days) with the ambition of celebrating with splendor the millennium of the castle scheduled for 2024.
