The commune of Val-de-Marne, in the Île-de-France region, Bonneuil-sur-Marne takes place only a few kilometers from Créteil, not far from Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Boissy-Saint-Léger or Sucy-en-Brie.
The commune of Bonneuil-sur-Marne, formerly the property of the Frankish kings, was particularly illustrated in the seventh century with the convocation of an assembly by King Clotaire II. From the impressive castle built in this Merovingian period, there is unfortunately nothing left. The city, however, preserves some remains of this period, like its 12th century church.
Modern and resolutely turned towards the future, the city of Paris is now enjoying its proximity with some beautiful tourist sites, as well as its pleasant surroundings. There are still some historical monuments that attract visitors.
