Within the Regional Natural Park of the Pyrenees Ariégeoises, Bonac-Irazein is located between Bordes and Sentein, in the Biros valley. The hamlet of Irazein is located 1 km above, facing south and is surrounded by forests. You can find a small bakery making various organic breads cooked over a wood fire in Irazein.
In Bonac, an association offers concerts and meals every weekend in summer. Bonac has a small lake next to which you can practice tennis and pétanque.
Many hikes are possible from Irazein on foot: Arraing peak, Balacet marble quarry, Antras... or by taking your vehicle to the start of the hike: Araing pond, Isard chapel, Mont Valier, round pond.
