Small town of Meurthe-et-Moselle, in the valley of the Meurthe, Blainville-sur-l'Eau takes place between Nancy and Lunéville. Crossed by five rivers, it is also near Vigneulles, Hériménil or Xermaménil.
Former fortified town in the seventeenth century, Blainville-sur-l'Eau was also in the twelfth century the capital of a marquisate. It was founded around 600, and therefore has very ancient origins. It has a history closely related to that of the Duchy of Lorraine and has been the scene of many battles because of its strategic geographical location, especially during the First and Second World War.
Today, the city of eastern France is mainly oriented towards tourism, offering visitors passing through an interesting architectural heritage, as well as a great leisure offer.
