Bezouce

Bezouce is a small village 10 minutes from Nîmes, at the foot of the garrigue, facing a vast plain.
History:

Located on the Domitian, Bezouce is an ancient Gallo-Roman villa, called "Bistucia" in honor of its owner Bistucus. It is at this time a center of trade.
In the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, Bezouce hosts many personalities such as Queen Claude advantage of the proximity of waters of Meynes reputed to cure certain diseases.

Museum: The archaeological museum in this club the fruit of his research. The Gallo-Roman period is the most represented; items found in the remains of rural settlements, they show the humble and laborious life in the countryside.
The waterwheel of the Roman aqueduct: For millennia, man uses the ancient waterwheel mechanism to get deep in the basement, the water essential to life. The Church of Bezouce: Around a small Romanesque church built in the twelfth century to 1150, several extensions have succeeded destroying most of the construction of which few details have been detected during the internal restoration (and plastered paintings) realized in 1998.
Walk in the surrounding scrubland, olive groves.
The Oulivo: Olive Cooperative proposing in its sales area a variety of olive products: tapenade, candied olives, oils PDO Nîmes, but also a line of high-end cosmetics. The Oulivo also offers visitors the opportunity to visit the chain of preparation of table olives.
