Beuvardes is built on a stream which joins the Ordrimouille which then merges with the Ourcq. On the square is a fountain topped by a statue of St. Martin in pontifical costume. This fountain is just outside the old wash house, still preserved.
During the First World War, the village was largely destroyed and was in the second, a major center of resistance.
