Massif Central winter sports resort, Besse Super Besse takes place in the ski area of Grand Sancy, in the department of Puy-de-Dôme. It is located on the town of Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise, in the Regional Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes.
Located at 1,300 meters above sea level, on the slopes of the Puy du Sancy, the ski resort of Besse Super Besse was born at the beginning of the 1960s. It now has about twenty lifts, as well as twenty-seven tracks of all levels spread over more than forty kilometers. You can train on the boardercross or the snowpark. The resort also has a cross-country ski area with sixteen trails for 118 kilometers.
The resort of Besse Super Besse offers other activities such as night skiing, mountain bike trails or cross-country, an ice rink, an indoor pool, an artificial lake for summer to learn the pedalo, the optimistic or canoeing, as well as a summer toboggan run.
