A family property since the 17th century, the Château de Béru, in the Yonne, sits on the foothills of the slopes hosting the Grands Crus of Chablis. High place of viticulture, it is known today for its production of a biodynamic white wine.
Listed as a Historic Monument, the castle of Béru is a private property not accessible to the public. On its entrance facade, it reveals a rare lunar calendar which testifies to the importance of the cycles of the moon in the organization of agricultural work.
