Labeled Musée de France, the museum of history and archeology of Berck, in Pas-de-Calais, was created at the end of the 1970s. Expanded in 2002, it unveils permanent collections and exhibitions on two levels. temporary themes on regional archeology.
On the site program, collections dating from proto-history to the Middle Ages, as well as paintings from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century, notably with works by Georges Laugée, Ludovic-Napoléon Lepic or Eugène Trigoulet.
In the display cases, funerary furniture from the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC, glassware, amber necklaces and very beautiful pieces of goldsmith's work are revealed.
