Small town of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Bédoin is located in the department of Vaucluse, between Mount Ventoux and the city of Carpentras. Mostly occupied by a communal forest, it is also about thirty kilometers from Avignon, a tourist town known for its theater festival.
Agricultural city, Bédoin is best known for its wine business which has earned it a wine classified AOC, the famous Côte-du-Ventoux. Agriculture is also an important activity of the commune, especially through fruit orchards highlighting cherries, apricots, plums or figs. The olives are also honored and the town produces an oil known since the eighteenth century.
Tourist, the commune of Bédoin has an interesting architectural heritage, as well as unique landscapes to discover the time of quiet walks or marked hikes.
