The city of Beaumont-les-Autels is one of the "pathways" in the Regional Natural Park of the Perche D955 through the village. Its area is 2,098 ha in an environment of wooded hills, ponds and meadows. A bit of history: from the early 12th century, the lords of Beaumont (Guillaume de Beaumont in 1100) defend the area and the village, located at the crossroads of ancient routes that connected the then Grand Perche (Nogent-le-Rotrou) The Dunois (Châteaudun) and Perch-Gouët (The Bazoche-Gouët). The town houses were grouped around the "motte", the first castle, you can see the gaps in the lane to Coq. The current common Beaumont-les-Autels consists of two former municipalities, Beaumont-le-Chartif (Chétif) and The Shrines-Tuboeuf, joined by Royal Decree of 6 February 1835.
