- The church has a Pietà the fifteenth century, very worn. The beautiful cross of the fourteenth century that once stood on the altar is now on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in Limoges.
- At the entrance of the village is a contemporary granite statue of Pierre Digan.
- Lake Vassivière, a 1000 hectare lake with many water activities, beaches, children's playground and a contemporary art center, built by Aldo Rossi in the eponymous island, worth visiting. The lake is located in three municipalities Beaumont-du-Lac, Peyrat-le-Château and Royère-de-Vassivière, and two departments of Haute-Vienne and Creuse. Taxi boats and cruise ships allow to appreciate the protected environment. A small tourist train also connects to Pierrefitte Vassivière island.
