Castle of Beaufort

Listed as an historic monument, the castle of Beaufort, in the Hérault, presents an architectural mix linked to its numerous transformations between the 16th and 19th centuries. This former defensive fortress which today serves as a wine-growing estate for the Minervois AOC, reveals inside a very beautiful staircase with straight flights, a covered kitchen with groin vaults, two lounges with ceilings painted under the Empire or even a bedroom with an 18th century plastered fireplace.
