Village of Oise, in Hauts-de-France region, Baron takes place seventy kilometers from Beauvais and its cathedral, not far from Ermenonville, Montépilloy and Barbery.
Populated since the Gallo-Roman era, the town of Baron then benefited from the influence of the large neighboring city, Augustomagus (Senlis). Fortified in the Middle Ages, it was for a long time a Mecca of cereal cultivation, then breeding and viticulture. She knows her golden age under the Restoration, including the presence of many artisans.
Strongly marked by the two world wars, the village of Baron has however retained its appearance of the past, including some beautiful architectural vestiges testifying to its rich past.
