The marina of Barneville-Carteret, in the Channel, on the west coast of Cotentin, is located in a harbor, bordering a basin protected from bad weather and the high seas. The port is accessible by a lock.
It has 311 berths in pontoons, 60 of which are dedicated to visitors, and 95 berths in stranding. Access is limited to boats up to 25 m long and whose draft is less than or equal to 2.30 m.
The facilities available to boaters are numerous and modern (showers, toilets, fuel station, WiFi relay, water and electricity terminals, laundry). A bicycle rental service is available to explore the city and its surroundings. A technical area with a lifting crane and a slipway can also be useful.
The port is particularly popular with boaters wishing to reach the Channel Islands or the Brittany coast.
