Barbey is located on the edge of the Yonne and the towpath which runs along it is particularly pleasant to walk at this place, as well as the paths which leave from it and which lead to this small country village. Many loops to do on flat ground, of very variable durations.
The castle and the pond opposite can be admired from the Grande rue but it is a private heritage not open to the public.
The church will be restored soon and intended to be reopened as soon as possible, but it will still be necessary to wait a few months and the end of the works.
