Built in the 18th century in the town of Avoise, in the Sarthe, the castle of Dobert takes place in an exceptional setting, in a meander of the Vègre. In the heart of a large wooded park with an incredible 18th century aqueduct, nestles this classic-style building partly listed as a Historic Monument.
Originally a 15th century manor, the Château de Dobert underwent a major restoration campaign after the Revolution, when two outbuildings were added. In 2019, one of them saw its roof completely destroyed following a fire.
Visitors passing through the estate will have the pleasure of being welcomed by the same family that has lived there for more than five centuries.
