Located in the heart of the historic center of Auch at n°3, Place de la République (just next to Sainte-Marie Cathedral), the Grand Auch Coeur de Gascogne Tourist Office is an essential stopover for gleaning tourist information, suggestions and expert advice from the team of travel advisers.
It is the starting point for two itineraries for visiting the heart of the city to be carried out independently: a strolling route using a paper booklet and/or a (free) application to download for a visit playful, with a riddle and a few games. The Pays d'art et d'Histoire (label awarded to the Grand Auch) offers a year-round program of classic, sensory and thematic visits, conferences, shows, accompanied by a certified guide-lecturer. During school holidays, activities and workshops are dedicated to children. The details of the quarterly program as well as reservations are made directly with the Tourist Office (email, telephone or on site, directly).
The Tourist Office is also a place to visit in its own right where the visitor can take advantage of various spaces:
- On the ground floor: to collect advice, ask questions questions to the holiday advisers, reserve seats at the ticket office and do some shopping at the souvenir shop, a showcase for excellent products from the Gers.
- A children's area: with two mini local color cartoons broadcast, photo-booths, coloring and games.
- A relaxation-discovery area with tables and sockets as well as short videos to glean ideas for exploring the Gers.
- Panorama and its unique view of the facade of Sainte-Marie Cathedral... A pleasant moment of relaxation and discovery.
- Toilets and a changing table in the basement.
- Outside, a touch terminal is available to consult upcoming events, restaurants and accommodation nearby.
