Located in the heart of the Sarthe, on the banks of the Vègre, the Claies manor is a former stately home from the 15th century now available for rent as a seasonal gîte. Surrounded by an imposing garden with a 1200 m² terrace, it has been listed as a Historic Monument since the 1990s.
Heavily damaged during the 1930s, the Claies manor house in Asnières-sur-Vègre benefited from a major restoration campaign based in particular on original elements reassembled in situ.
