Commune of Morbihan, Arzon takes place in Brittany, at the end of the peninsula Rhuys. Bordered by the Gulf of Morbihan and the bay of Quiberon, it is characterized by the presence of two seaside resorts, Port-Navalo and Le Crouesty. The town is also part of the arrondissement of Vannes, another very touristic city of the region.

The proximity of Arzon with the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean make it a commune appreciated by tourists and lovers of natural spaces. In addition to swimming, it is possible to practice a large number of outdoor activities, whether it is hiking or water sports.

The small town of just over 2,000 inhabitants also has an interesting architectural heritage that testifies to the history of the site throughout the centuries.

Things to see and do

Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the seaside resort of Port-Navalo is one of the main attractions of Arzon. Offering an unbeatable panorama of Quiberon and Locmariaquer, it is also a marina of great importance. In addition to the beaches, perfect for lazing around or windsurfing, the resort also has a lighthouse of the 19th century, as well as a very beautiful roadstead.

The other major seaside resort of Arzon is Le Crouesty. More modern than its sister, it is in perpetual development since the 1970s, taking place around the largest marina of the coasts of Brittany. There is also a thalassotherapy center.

Walking in the town, you can also admire a cairn, dolmens or a tidal mill. The church is also worth a visit, as is the Saint Nicolas chapel in the hamlet of Kerners, or the statue of Saint Anne in Bilgroix.

On the coastal paths, you will be able to appreciate the fauna and the flora, as well as the different points that surround Arzon: those of Béché, Beninz, Bilgroix, Kerners, Monteno, Penbert and Saint-Nicolas.

Arzon also hosts a casino with many slot machines and annual animations.
