Artigues-près-Bordeaux presents a rich and impressive architectural heritage that bears witness to the important history of the city through the centuries.

Built in the twelfth century, St. Seurin church has a beautiful Romanesque style. Part of the nave, rebuilt in the seventeenth century, has been listed historical monument.

The city of Artigues-près-Bordeaux full of various castles that show the former wealth of the agricultural city. Built in the mid-nineteenth century, the Château de la Prairie is a vineyard which once produced red wine and white wine. Today the building houses the City Hall Artigues-près-Bordeaux, while the park is popular with runners and fishermen with its beautiful pond. Bétailhe The castle is a residence of the twelfth century whose fleet of more than 30,000 m² is open access.
