Church of the Dominicains

Monument in Arles

Originally established in 1231 from outside the walls, or Dominican friars preachers, fold in the 14th century along the Rhone to build their convent. The convent complex will gradually extend to the construction of a monumental church completed in the late 15th century and consecrated under the name of Our Lady of Comfort.

Today known as the founder of the order, it is the largest religious building in the Gothic style in the city.
