Town North of more than 10 000 inhabitants, in the Hauts-de-France, Annoeullin takes place about thirty kilometers from Lille in French Flanders. It is located in the Carembault, near Carvin, Provin or Allennes-les-Marais.
Originally property of the lord of Lille, the town of Annoeullin has seen human occupation since the Neolithic. Mainly oriented agriculture and livestock, it was also surrounded by marshes that gave him a strategic position in case of enemy attack. Possession of the Abbey of St. Vaast of Arras in the twelfth century, it has for centuries shaped the face it has today, offering visitors a lovely setting and dynamic during their holidays in the region.
