Angoumé is a pretty little village in the South West of France, located in the heart of the Landes.
It is located in southern Gascony, 10 km west of Dax, in the Marensin region. The picturesque village overlooks part of the Landes forest, which, composed mainly of pines, is characteristic of the Landes landscape. However, a detour via pedestrian circuits will allow you to discover a panorama of the Adour valley and the castle of Angoumé.
Characterized by a relief composed of low hills, the village is housed partly on the massif of the Landes forest, and partly on the Barthes de l'Adour area which it overlooks. To the south-west, there are therefore vast expanses of pines, and going down towards the Adour, a more varied vegetation, composed mainly of oaks.
