Anet is known internationally for a masterpiece of the French Renaissance, the castle built by Philibert de l'Orme for the all-powerful mistress of Henri II, Diane de Poitiers. The banks of the Eure, in this valley known for tourism as the Royal Valley of the Eure, everything points to the discovery but also at rest.
At Anet is the Tourist Office of the Community of Municipalities of Val Eure and Vesgre which includes twelve municipalities including three in the Eure (Ivry-la-Bataille, Ezy-sur-Eure and Seagull) and nine in the Eure-et-Loir (Anet, Boncourt Oulins, Saussey, Gilles, Guainville, Le Mesnil-Simon, Sorel, La Chaussee d'Ivry).
