- Royal Castle of Amboise:
- This medieval fortress of Amboise gives way to a royal residence under the reigns of Kings Charles VIII and Francis I (late 15th-early 16th century). The court and a number of European scholars and artists stayed at Amboise at the invitation of the sovereigns, such as Leonardo da Vinci who rests in the castle chapel.
- This landmark in the history of France has an exceptional collection of Gothic and Renaissance furniture that testifies to the artistic refinement of the first French Renaissance.
- After the visit of the royal lodgings and towering towers, the walk continues in beautiful panoramic gardens overlooking the Loire.

- Royal Domain of Château Gaillard:
- A palazotto built by Charles VIII on his return from his First Campaign in Italy. He brings back a squad of 22 Italian artists to found the First Renaissance at Amboise. He entrusted the design of the gardens to the Neapolitan monk Dom Pacello of Mercoliano, the most renowned master gardener of his time. It is at Château Gaillard that Pacello will acclimatize the first orange trees in France.

- Castle Clos Lucé, remains offered to Leonardo da Vinci by Francis I; after a few years of happy life in this castle the genius died there. His remains are in the chapel Saint-Hubert Castle Amboise.
- Discover Amboise on a small train! Travel to the heart of the city with the little train and discover the royal castle of Amboise, the Clos Lucé, the Ile d'Or, the city center. Departure every day at the foot of the castle: at 11am then from 14h to 18h every 45 minutes.
