Nordic area located in the valleys of Ax, in the municipality of Albiès, Ariège, the ski resort of Plateau de Beille is the first northern site of the Pyrenees. It rises to more than 1800 meters above sea level, and consists of thirty-two kilometers of regularly groomed trails.
A green slope offers a nice space for beginners, and the most experienced skiers can start on the blue, black or red slopes. In addition to skiing, the Plateau de Beille resort also offers tobogganing, igloo construction and sled dog walking.
