Small village of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, on the right bank of the Bléone, Aiglun takes place to ten kilometers of Digne-les-Bains, on Route Napoleon (N85). It is located between 507 and 900 meters above sea level, near Mirabeau and Barras, in natural settings on the border between Provence and the Alps.
Formerly dependent on oppidum Dignensis (Digne), Aiglun knows over the centuries a history linked to that of Provence, passing from independence to the kingdom of France. It was until the twentieth century a high place of wine culture, an activity that has now disappeared.
Very dynamic and member of the Geopark of Haute-Provence created by UNESCO in 2000, the city of Aiglun presents to its visitors an exceptional architectural heritage, as well as an authentic and preserved natural environment.
