Clean, big, well equiped, helpful
I stayed for 2 nights at Le Charmagit with 5 other dutch motorcyclists. The intial plan was to stay for 3 nights, but because of the bad weather forecasts we decided to return to Holland 1 day earlier. We had stayed at another chambres d'hotes before, so we can make a good comparison. The first thing struck me was the big space of the dining room and the additional living room at the first floor with a television. (Though I rarely watch tv). My first impression was that things went more formal than in the previous chambre d'hotes. A signed contract. After she had done her explanation, Mme Marisol, was nowhere to be seen and her husband Thierry and she didn't have dinner with us. But the tone became less stiff and more friendly when I asked Mme Marisol for a solution for one of the members of the group who was suffering from allergy to lactose and when Mr. Thierry asked my advice for dinner as he wanted to make tartiflette for us and we came to talk about more things. At a certain moment Mme Marison started to try to talk in English and although she had to give up quickly, it is definitely appreciated by the members of the group as they don't speak french. The room was perfect for my roommate and me, good matresses a good shower-cabin. The breakfast and dinner were not so good as in the previous chambres d'hotes, but also significantly cheaper. So definitely value for money!
